Q1: What’s the difference between roller fairlead and hawse fairlead?
A: Roller fairleads adopt rotating rollers for low friction, ideal for steel winch ropes. Hawse fairleads are fixed and more suitable for synthetic ropes, which will cause severe wear on steel cables.
