Step 1: Dig

If the chassis has already been bottomed, the space under the chassis needs to be excavated first. The cleared materials should be stacked on both sides, not in front of the escape board.

Step 2: Pad

Insert the escape board between the tire and the ground at a slight tilt angle, with the board head facing towards the direction of vehicle movement. The purpose of tilting is to allow the tire to naturally press onto the surface of the board when starting, rather than pushing the board away. If the car is deeply stuck, stones or hard objects can be placed under the board to provide support.

Step 3: Laying

If the car is not deeply stuck, simply lay an escape board in front of each driving wheel. Front wheel drive vehicles have front wheels, rear wheel drive vehicles have rear wheels, and four-wheel drive vehicles depend on power distribution. When the four wheels are deeply trapped, four escape boards need to be used simultaneously. In extremely soft sandy or deep mud, two escape boards can be joined together at the beginning and end to form a longer track.

Step 4: Open

Start the vehicle, engage low-speed four-wheel drive, and select second or third gear. Keep the direction straight, lightly press the accelerator and start slowly. Feel the change in wheel adhesion - once the tire grips the surface and starts moving forward, keep the throttle stable and do not step on it too hard. After exiting the stuck area, continue driving until a solid ground is reached before stopping.
