US Type L 140 Ratchet Type Load Binder is heavy duty chain tensioning hardware following US L 140 standard, manufactured by Thinkwell. It adopts ratchet cam pawl structure to realize step by step tightening for tie down chains, widely used for cargo lashing on flatbed trucks, trailers and transport vehicles. Drop forged steel construction delivers high strength and reliability for heavy load securement. Compared with lever style load binders, ratchet design greatly reduces kick back risk and provides precise tension adjustment for safer single person operation.
Made of carbon & alloy steel by one piece drop forging. All load bearing components are forged, enhancing impact resistance and mechanical performance. Breaking load reaches 3.5 times Working Load Limit(WLL) for reliable safety factor.
Cam and pawl locking structure enables incremental, continuous take up. You can fine tune chain tension without sudden spring back. Forged long handle provides great leverage, less labor required for tightening work.
Powder painting finish brings excellent anti rust, scratch resistant and anti corrosion performance, suitable for outdoor, damp and rough transportation environments.
Standard size range covers 1/4" 5/8" chain. Custom sizes are available to match G70/G80 transport chains for diverse lashing demands.

1. Inspect the binder, hooks and chain before every use. Stop using if cracks, bending, heavy wear or pawl malfunction is found.
2. Never exceed the Working Load Limit. The WLL of load binder shall match or exceed the chain rating.
3. Keep hands clear of ratchet handle moving path during tensioning. Do not over tighten.
4. Periodically re check tension during long distance transport.
5. Lubricate ratchet moving parts regularly; store in dry place to avoid rust.
